Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about GTOincentives and how it can help your business.
How are you able to offer these incentives?
We partner with hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and product suppliers to help them fill otherwise empty rooms or sell inventory. They gain additional revenue through upsells (food, spa, future bookings). We do not rely on "breakage" and fulfill as many offers as possible.
Do my customers have to attend a timeshare presentation?
No. None of our certificates require attending any sales or timeshare presentations.
What hotels, resorts, and cruise lines participate?
We have access to over 1 million properties. We don't promote specific brands because bookings are based on availability. We guarantee only 3-star or higher properties (TripAdvisor ratings). Mexico Getaways use Vidanta properties; All-Inclusive stays use Sunscape Resorts; cruises often use Royal Caribbean and Carnival.
What restaurants participate with restaurant certificates?
Our restaurant certificates are partnered with Dine.Restaurant.com. Search participating restaurants there.
What about global availability?
Some certificates are "Global" while others are "US Only." Reference our Certificate List here.
What brand names are your electronic products?
They are high-quality generic (off-brand) electronics. We bulk purchase via retail partnerships to save costs for members.
How does my customer redeem a certificate?
Each certificate has a dedicated redemption website where the customer enters their code and follows instructions. Full details, terms, FAQs, and sometimes videos are provided.
Can customers choose their destination and hotel?
Yes, they can choose their destination. Specific hotels depend on available inventory at the time of booking.
Do the certificates expire?
Yes, certificates must be redeemed within 30 days of issuance. After redemption, customers usually have 12-24 months to travel.
Why is there a 30-day redemption deadline?
It ensures urgency and protects against future contract changes with suppliers.
Can customers book before the required advance notice period?
No. Properties release promotional inventory a certain number of days ahead. Advance notice is required.
What do the taxes and fees cover?
Taxes and fees cover discounted room rates, processing costs, and taxes. Additional fees like resort fees or upgrades are paid by the traveler.
Where can I view all taxes, fees, and details?
View the full Certificate List here.
Can I personalize the certificates?
Yes! You can add your business name, logo, and contact details.
Is there a fee to print certificates?
No additional fees. Your membership includes unlimited printing and emailing.
How much does membership cost?
$99 per month. No contracts. Cancel anytime by logging into your account.
How do the free samples work?
Free samples are demos only - not live incentives. They let you test the redemption flow.
Can I try a real certificate before signing up?
No. Live certificates are only provided to active members to protect our supplier partnerships.
Where can I view all available incentives?
Where can I view Terms, Privacy, Refund, and Cancellation policies?
How does cancellation work?
Cancel anytime by providing 3 business days' notice before your next billing date.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Month-to-month only
Can I resell certificates?
No. Reselling is prohibited.
How should I word the marketing disclaimer?
Always include "Terms and Conditions apply." Avoid language like "Free Trip" without disclaimers since taxes and fees apply.
I'm in Insurance, Financial Services, or Real Estate. Can I use these incentives?
Yes, but check industry-specific gift limits (e.g., under $15) and ensure incentives are framed as post-purchase gifts, not bribes.
Where can I view testimonials and reviews?
Can certificates be given to staff, friends, or family?
No. Certificates are for promotional customer use only - not personal gifts.
What is "breakage" in incentives?
Breakage refers to certificates issued but never redeemed. Our model is fulfillment-driven - we are incentivized to fulfill, not discourage redemptions.
